Make Bengali Style tomato chutney Can be eaten with chapati or as a side dish with Dal and rice forms a perfect meal, easy and quick recipe as made by Chef Harpal Singh.

Tomatoes chopped 3 large
Mustard oil 1 Tbsp
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Sauf or Aniseeds - 1 tsp
onion seeds- 1 tsp.
fenugreek seeds
ginger chopped 1 Tbsp
Red chili powder 1/2 tsp
Black salt 1/ 4 tsp
Jaggery 3 Tbsp
Salt to taste.
Coriander for Garnish

Step 1: In a heating pan, add mustard oil, add cumin seeds, Aniseeds, onion seeds, Fenugreek seeds and saute it.
Step 2: Add chopped tomatoes, cook for 3 to 4 mins till tomatoes become pulpy and soft.
Step 3: add salt to taste add red chili powder, add black salt, add jaggery, and saute it until the jaggery is mixed properly u will observe the change in color.
Step 4: Chutney is ready to be removed in a bowl.
Serve and Enjoy!
