Description

Ingredients:
Thinly chopped onion-1 medium
Thinly chopped ginger-1 tbsp
Thinly chopped green chilly-1 tsp
Thinly chopped coriander leaves-1 tsp
Thinly chopped curry leaves-1 tbsp
Besan flour(chick pea flour)-1/4 cup
Rice flour-1/4 cup
All purpose flour(maida)- 1/4 cup
Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
Chilly powder-1 tsp
Hing (kayam)_a pinch
Egg-1
Baking soda-1/4 tsp
Oil-for deep frying
Preparation:
In a mix bowl; add thinly mince onion, ginger, green chilly, coriander leaves and curry leaves.
Add besan flour, rice flour, all purpose four, turmeric powder, chilly powder, salt and hing.
Crack an egg in to it and mix well.
Add water little by little and make a thick paste like batter.
Add baking soda and mix well.
Heat a pan with oil; when it is hot; make the flame to medium.
Drop small spoons of batter in to hot oil on by one quickly without over crowding.
Fry until nice golden brown in color.
Drain in to paper towels to absorb excess oil.
Serve hot and enjoy the crispy bites!
