Ingredients list
***************
For Mysore rasam powder
** *** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** **
2 tsp coriander seeds / Dhaniya
½ tsp cumin seeds / jeerige
2 tsp channa dal / kadale bele
½ tsp black pepper
10 dry red chillies - 5 Guntooru, 5 byadagi
¼ cup grated dry or desiccated coconut

other ingredients
** ** ** ** ** ** **
2 medium sized tomatoes finely chopped
1 cup tamarind juice (lemon sized Tamarind)
¼ tsp turmeric powder / haldi
salt to taste
1 and ½ tsp jaggery
1 cup cooked toor dal
2 cups water ( add as required)
for tempering:
2 tbsp Cooking oil
1\2 tsp mustard seeds
1\4 th tsp hing / asafetida
2 dried red chilli
few curry leaves
2 tbsp coriander leaves finely chopped

Note - I used 3 and half tbsp rasam powder for the rasam.
