The Olsen Twins matched up in all-black ensembles on Monday at the CFDA Fashion Awards in New York City.The 31-year-old designers were nominated for Womenswear Designer of the Year and won the award for Accessories Designer of the Year at the event held at the Brooklyn Museum.Mary-Kate opted for a black belted coat with high-heeled boots for the annual affair known as the Oscars of fashion.Ashley meanwhile went with a cropped jacket with half-sleeves, long black skirt and matching pumps.Mary-Kate had her blonde hair parted down the middle and down around her shoulders.  Share this article Share Ashley had a sweeping side part with hairstylist Mark Townsend adding extra volume and shine.The Olsen Twins in 2009 became the youngest designers inducted into the CFDA trade association representing US fashion and accessory designers. They also were nominated last year for Womenswear Designer of the Year and won the award in 2012 and 2015.The designers also nabbed the Accessories Designer of the Year award in 2014.Mary-Kate and Ashley started their acting careers at the age of nine months when they were hired to share the role of Michelle Tanner on the ABC sitcom Full House.They starred on the TV series from 1987 to 1995 and afterward made several films together before getting into the fashion industry.Ashley and Mary-Kate in 2006 founded The Row design house with a mission to support high-end fashion manufacturing in the United States.The Row in 2014 opened its first store in Los Angeles and its second flagship store debuted in New York in May 2016.The council also includes designers Carolina Herrera, Diane von Furstenberg, Ralph Lauren and Zac Posen.
