India won gold after upsetting Singapore 3-1 in the women's table tennis team event at Gold Coast on Sunday. India ended Singapore's golden run in CWG, starting with Manika Batra edging Feng Tianwei in the first singles contest. Yu Mengyu levelled the score after overcoming Madhurika Patkar 13-11, 11-2, 11-6. India then regained their lead in the doubles with Patkar and Mouma Das seeing off Yu and Zhou Yihan. Manika then returned to the court to see off Zhou in the decider. "I was playing the first match and I knew that she (Feng Tianwei) was world No 4, I was thinking that I had to win for my team, and that they will get confidence if I win. And I was hearing the national anthem (inside her mind)," said Manika (Video credit: SNTV).
