Mamidikaya pulihora is also known as mango rice in English. As the mangoes available in the summer season, we should definitely try this mango rice recipe. It is quite different from the regular pulihora recipe. We will not use tamarind in this mamidikaya pulihora, it takes less time as we didn't cook tamarind in this recipe.

As the mango has the sour taste we should add green chilli and red chilli as per our taste. The taste will depend on the type of mango we use in this preparation.
