In a huge shock, a local court in Dharmabad, Maharashtra has issued a non-bailable arrest warrant against Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu and 15 others. The case is related to an agitation over the Babhli project on river Godavari. The judicial first class magistrate of Dharmabad court has directed police to arrest all the accused and produce them in the court on 21st of September. Naidu was in opposition in united Andhra Pradesh. His party was opposing the project on the ground that it would affect the people of Andhra Prad esh. During agitation, he was arrested and lodged in Pune jail. He and other agitators were released later.
