Coconut Chutney Recipe (for Idli / Dosa) | How to make Easy and Simple Chutney Recipe #377

Coconut chutney made with fresh coconut, lentils, subtly spiced with green chillies and tempered with fresh curry leaves giving a soothing earthy flavor . Coconut chutney is a perfect blend of dip which makes a great accmpaniment for any South Indian delicacy such as Idli, Dosa , vada and uttapam .


Ingredients :-

Fresh Coconut - 1/2 cup
Chana Dal - 2 tbsp (soaked in water for about 3-4 hours )
Green Chilies - 2 pieces (to taste)
Oil - 1 tsp
Ginger - 1 tsp
Mustard Seeds - 1/2 tsp
pinch of Hing
Dried Red Chilies - 1-2 pieces
Curry Leaves - 8-10 pieces
