YSR Congress is observing state wide bandh on Tuesday against the non fulfillment of promises made to give special status to Andhra Pradesh by the central government. YSR Congress president Jagan Mohan Reddy had called for a bandh in Andhra Pradesh on Saturday, the day after no confidence motion moved in Loksabha by Telugu Desham Party was defeated. He said that the party wants to raise voice against the injustice done by the BJP government. Heavy security arrangements have been made across the state and Police have detained many party workers across state. Other political parties are not supporting YSR Congress' Bandh. The TDP has called it a YSR Congress drama. Earlier this year Chandrababu Naidu had moved out of NDA over the issue.
