Aamir Khan is one of the most versatile Indian Actor. Aamir first appeared on screen at the age of eight in a minor role in his uncle Nasir Hussain's film Yaadon Ki Baaraat (1973).
His first solo film was Holi which was mainly an experimental social drama film. Aamir's leading role was in 1988 movie Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak. After QSQT his notable performance was seen in film Raakh that earned him a Special Mention at the 36th National Film Awards ceremony.
Aamir Khan made his first directorial debut with Taare Zameen Par in 2007 which was a critical and commercial success for him. He won National Film Award for Best Film on Family Welfare.
Five of Aamir's films—Ghajini, 3 Idiots, Dhoom 3, PK, and Dangal— have held records for being the highest-grossing Indian film of all time.
